Thanks for the feedback on my truck..

 

I don't understand why someone would take the front off of the best looking truck and put on a navi nose

 

I think the NAVI nose looks better.

 

The nav nose looks good....on a navigator.

Another case of someone trying to make something that it is not...but I don't get why you would do that to a Lightning...then again I don't know why you would do this to a vette.

Personally I think that truck is awsome, i'm sure its strictly a show truck, but there is a ton of $$$ and custom work but into that. Very nice!

 

is anyone absolutely sure that its really an L? I dont want to diss other folks rides but if you parked it outside your house you wouldnt have to call in the exterminator..

Well I think that it looks pretty cool, It is original at the least. As far as the Navi front end, I like it, I like the whole truck for the matter and I can even live with the color.
It is a real show truck and I give the owner thumbs up on making his truck really stand out. Chevy guys put the Cadillac front end on their trucks so it only makes sence to put the Navi front end on it.
You guys are sometimes a little harsh, but you have the right to your opinions. And at a car show I don't think that anyone here could even come close to touching him. He has spent a ton of time and money in this truck and I for one can see and appreciate that, and so would the judges. Way to go and for being original and darring to do that to a Lightning.

is it me or are the door handles chrome?

 

The only thing i like about it are the Boyd-Coddington Rodder rims. Still like my Smoothie 2's better .

 

The dealership that I bought my lightnings from does that conversion. They had a black 99 w/ the navigator front end on it when I bought mine.

 

Well I think the color sux, but other than that, it's a nicely customized truck. If it started as a L, they had the class to take the L badges off, so who cares? I'd rather see this, than the samo, samo...
