Two Questions...
ok 1) I went to the track tonight and w/ all stock trim, plus a hard top tonneau, extra passenger 150lbs, and my 20in rims and gt2's, i pulled off consistent 14.3's.......... .55 reaction times and 2.1 60ft times..........my Q: is it my driving or are the big rims, extra person, and tonneau really slowing me down? without those three, what times should i be seeing?
2) i was thinking of putting the colored ford logo on my front grille but i dont know what color i should get, should i go with the bright red clearcoat or should i go with the oxford white? does it just peel off or is it bolted? thanks

You're hurting yourself--or, you're keeping your ets too high with the extra weight and even more damaging are the 20" rims. Your 2000 L has a 3.55 rear end gear ratio---with the stock 18" rims in use. In increasing the wheel diameter, you have effectively changed the rear end ratio--in the wrong direction. You could help it out greatly by going to a 16" wheel with a drag-type tire, thereby lowering(higher numerically) the rear end ratio and increasing traction.

Explain to your passenger as nicely as you can that you are trying everything you can to improve your ET's and would they please try to
LOSE SOME DAMN WEIGHT!
You would think people would be polite enough to lay off the cheeseburgers when they know you're going to the track, sheesh!
