I was driving down Shotgun Rd. in Davie, FL ... and I noticed a black '01 or '02 L with a hard cover. Was wondering if that was anyone on this board?

 

I've seen a bunch of 'em in Broward..........most of who I am sure have no idea of the existence of this website.......I flash high beams or something to say what's up and stuff, and only get a reply back maybe half the time. I wonder if they think I'm crazy, or something. Those are the types of guys that aren't really into their truck.........they just bought it cause it was there.......At least that's my opinion.

Actually... I was driving home sunday morning from a friends house... when coming my direction was a vehicle which I thought was an L... so I slowed down. Took my turn. Saw it was following me. Finally got home and got out of my truck, and heard a voice saying "Hey nice truck ya got there!"... Needless to say it was an '02 TrueBlue L. Very nice guy. He was asking about performance mod's and whatnot, but he had not known about this site. He said he had a couple clunks... so I let him know that his problem had a fix, and he could find it and any other problem he had on this site. Very nice guy, and was very into his truck. On the other hand, ive pulled up next to other L owners, and I give them the wave, and a 'hey nice truck!'. But don't even get a reply, and no conversation at all. I guess those are the ones that just buy the truck because it looks cool, or something to that effect.....

But to get back to my original post... I see a couple L's parked in driveway's around my house. Just wanted to meet the owners, but I guess they don't read these forums.

 

I'll be out at Tower Shops this Friday (if it doesn't rain)..........I don't know if I've met you before or not...........don't know if you've parked your truck in the L section before........I work in Ft Lauderdale, just about 15 min. from Davie, if that......

Maybe we'll meet up this Friday if you swing by Towers, or some other time,
