Anyone running the AFM powerpipe?

Just wondering if anyone has this thing, and if there was any performance gain at all...

I'm sure it's providing HP gains comparable to just about any other filter kit.

Here's one that i'm thinkin of gettin. I'm thinkin I like the stock look, plus a nice enclosure for the filter from all the engine heat. Take a look....

I tried to order the AFM power pipe - they're sold out for about 2 months. For that, I'd wait until BA-Bolt's Pro-pipe is available. You KNOW that THAT will show some gains.

As far as the Volant goes, I had ordered one of those, originally. The mid-pipe is nice and smooth, from what I hear, and the inside of the airbox is like glass. However, someone over at NLOC actually got a check engine light because it was so starved of air - He ended up cutting a bunch of holes in the airbox, just like the stock airbox mod... After I read that, I cancelled my order, and ordered the JLP cold-air. I figure, for the PRICE of the Volant kit, it should be PERFECT. You're looking at $300, shipped! (I DID, however, think about keeping the order in, just to get the mid-pipe )

Just my .02!

Thanks for the heads up, banshee. I too have been waiting for the BABolt Pro-Pipe. I guess i'm just gettin a little antsy. I've waited this long, I guess I can wait a while longer. I'm sure it'll be worth it.

It looks like the 03 Colbra Powerpipe will work in our Trucks,
