hey austin lightnings,
i was wondering if any of yall raced a red trans-am gta (3rd gen)that has a big black cowl hood and looks otherwise stock over the weekend.
it is my roomates car and he said he raced a silver (i think) lightning saturday afternoon or night, and he said he walked away from it. his car is pretty fast here's some of what it has:
383 stroker, AFR heads, mildish cam, demon carb, tremec 5-spd, etc.... its fairly quiet and wouldnt sound much different from a stock T/A with flows due to the mild cam and single
exhaust.
we've only recently gotten it to run well (had air/fuel supply problems until recently), and its pretty fast (i would estimate low 13's), but it still needs to be tuned and isnt quite putting down as much power as it should yet. well let me know if whoever he raced is on this site!!!
