quick computer code ?
does anyony know the computer code for a 99 lightning?

CUX1, and if it has been reflashed by the dealer, it's then a CUX2 (2000) code.

is it possible to use a CUX1 coded chip in a CUX2 computer, or will that cause he!!? also is the chip able to be reprogrammed for a CUX2 once it has a CUX1 code on it.

Chris, you can't use a chip for CUX1 in a 2, or vica versa. The truck will not even start or run that way. And yes, any chip can be reprogrammed for either PCM code at any time.
