who has wraped their lt headers

my jdm full exh. is bein installed tomorrow.
should i wrap the lt's?
or is it not that big of a deal since their slow low.

i called jdm they said its not needed on the stainless lt's

Man, I don't care how much HP(claimed ) thermal wrapping adds; I would not cover up those beautiful headers! Lawdy, I wish I could buy me some ---maybe somebody will give 'em to me for Father's Day---LOL---and maybe pig's will fly.

This would probably not make a difference with stainless headers, but I would not wrap a mild steel header, EVER.

If you get them wet, as in driving in the rain, they will retain that moisture. If it doesn't all evaporate before you park for the night, I will sit and rust the headers. I know of several people who have done this and had rusted out headers in a year or less.

Keep those pretty stainless steel things uncovered for all to see!
