Throttlebody=reburn??

Do you have to get a reburn on a TB install? I just can't get mine to idle low enough no matter what I do. Thanks Mike

Mike,
No re-burn. If backing the idle screw out does not do it you may have to adjust the TPS.

I tried both,but I did not adjust the TPS the correct way I'll fool with it tomorrow. I'm very pleased with the response and power I got from it. Thanks for the info.

Just got done working on my new Accufab. Set the idle voltage on the TPS at .92 VDC. It will allow a range up to 4.57 VDC at full throttle. All is good, except the throttle really sticks closed.

Adjusted the stop 4 (!) turns to stop the sticking. There is not enough adjustment in the TPS, or the Idle Air system to overcome this much opening. I even "finessed" the TPS so there would be more adjustment. No Bueno.

Looks like this one goes back.

We always had to elongate the holes on our Mustangs where the screws are on the TPS.

Take a rattail file or drill bit make the holes bigger. You will have plenty of adjustment then.

I had to elongatge the holes on my BaBolt TB, however on my Accufab didn't have any problems.

John, I elongated the holes about .030". That was enough to get the idle back down, eventually to abound 850 RPM.

I think the problem is that I had to open the throttle blade so much (4 turns on the set screw), the IAS cannot accomodate the large volume of air entering through the throttle body. I think it's just a throttle plate misalignment.

I'll call Accufab this morning.

Thanks for the suggestions.
