the usual chip question

I have a JDM chip and just got the thing reburned for hopfully the last time. But there seems to be a small problem with it. I have a 00 L and i put a 90mm MAF on it. But after putting the chip and MAF back in, the A/F gauge now says that im running much leaner then i should be. So a question looking at the little sticker what abreviation should i look for to make sure that after the reburn they maybe forgot to put the 90maf in with it?

thank you

Mark

Here's the code on the sticker on the back of the chip: CUX2 9TF5 E2F

Before the reburn, the code was: CUX2 9DRY E2F

Shouldn't the 2 codes be the same? All I wanted was a reburn because the side 2 Nitrous was dying when shifting, no change in program.

Mark:

I d/k what the correct code should be but I would go to the 'source' for that kind of question. I think you need Jim's input/answer.

Thanks for the words of advice but i have discovered the answer w/o calling.... Now they forgot to program in the 90mm MAF... I have an a/f gauge on my truck and the motor runs the same mix with and without the chip while the 90mm is in... now i am usually very pacient and civil as far as services goes but i am about to kill a family of bunnies after this one. I must say that JDM needs to get it's ***** together. This is the 3rd time!!! Ill say again 3rd time I have had to get my chip reburned by JDM and they have not gotten right still..... I have NOT changed a mod on my truck since i first got the chip and I am POed that now i have to send it again and wait another 3-5 weeks before I am going to get it back, and the same thing happens every other time. It takes either 3 calls asking where my chip is or a month to get it back. I will still say right out that JDM has the best products in my humble opinion. Though excessively higher priced than everyone else's. They do good work. But this chip deal is rediculous! I am pretty sure that I might have to just go with someone else from now on.

Easy answer.... dont deal with JDM. Check out www.jjssvt.com

JJ is always willing to help and he has like a one day turn around on chips. Plus he sells all the great JDM products without the JDM mandatory waiting period.

Just my .02 on that subject.

Wow. So it's not just the pully customers that have problems like this with this outfit. Hmmm. Chip folks now, too. I know for a fact that it takes all of about 7 minutes to study the request for a chip burn-in, pull up a program, re-burn the chip, then verify that it took. There's no excuse for this process to take 5 weeks. Even a monkey could do it in 10 minutes. That's about 4-5 in an hour, or about ->32<- chips a day. THEY AREN'T THAT BUSY, FOLKS. There's got to be something else going on here.
