E-mail from Justin (JDM), after two months of trying to get them to just give me a reasonable estimate of when I can expect delivery. Any odds as to if this is for real? Of course, yesterday I asked them to cancel the order and issue credit on my card.

Note to self: I don't care how good this tuner's products are. . .if you fight for two months for a delivery estimate date, then there is a serious customer service problem there. Don't get me wrong- I want to believe that JDM is a premier outfit, and that their products are well worth the outrageous prices, and that customer service is just as important to them as the almighty dollar they take from people months before they deliver the product. But as long as people continue to post messages like this week after week after week, then they'll never see a damn dime from me. That probably doesn't mean much to them- they have lots of fiercely loyal followers that will defend them to their last dying breath. But sooner or later the customer base will erode, it always does.
Mark- sorry to hear you had (are still having?) a bad experience. Looks like your money is better spent somewhere else.

Do appreciate their products, and yes, their customer service has to be the worst. How do you contact JJ? This sounds like a good
solution. As to closing this thread, why do that when we are having an open and honest discussion about a company that supplies many of us with expensive parts.

Better get in a quick .02 cents.. I run my own company and going on almost 8 years now and if I did that to my customers I would have been out of business by now. But if the parts arnet there you can't sell them just tell the customer and they would be happier to hear thet than there on the way and they don't show up!! But this is not the only tuner I have heard problems about.. Just my couple cents for what it is worth. Have a good day and good luck!!
Just wish they (JDM) wouldn't lie to me time after time. I've been calling about once a week to check on the status of my pulley, and each time they tell me "it's going to ship in two days, you are at the top of the list." I ordered on 4/17... still waiting... but they did manage to bill my CC... how convienent for them...
You know, if they just told me they were on back order for two months, I would have been upset, but at least I wouldn't have to keep playing these phone games...
