Well I am hoping my slicks will be delivered tomorrow by the big brown truck. If they don't show up in time I will still be there. Anybody have a spare set of slicks just in case?

I'm working on it right now as we speak.

I'm going to try and use my friends trailor and if he doens't let me I guess I'm just going to drive up there.

But I'm for sure going to be there around 4:00 or so, maybe earlier. What time is 66 opening?

Killa,
I called this morning and they open at 4:00. I ask her if that included tech and she said yes. I will be there at 4.

I'm going to try and go tomorrow, but not sure yet.

It's open from 4-10pm, but I think the gates open at 3:30.

It's best to get there as early as possible.

no kiding, cause as soon as school gets out and kids get off work, its a PITA to get runs in so I plan on making my beat pass right when I get there and then waiting for an hour and making another to see what I can finally do. no juice tommorrow just straight *****!

Hey guys, I'm not going to be able to make it. I have to be at McCook metals at 4:00 for a meeting and job walk so by the time I get done with that it will be 5:30 to 6:00 and then I have to drive home and get the beast which will be 6:30 and then another 30 minutes to get down to 66 so thats 7:00. then another 30 minutes to get the truck ready so chalk that up.

But 41 looks good for saturday.

RT Killa I'm just curious to when was the last time that you ran your L. What kind of times on just motor are you expecting. You can e-mail me if you don't want it public. Thanks Jeff hud@mc.net

the last time I ran her was last year at 66.

this year on motor I plan on running very very low 12's if not high 11's with it. Atleast I hope so anyway.

since last year I added 4lbs of boost, monster box with Precsion converter, ported and upper intake, new plugs (the BR7's, I think they might be to rich for just motor though), kooks long tubes and high flow cats, light weight rims and tires for drag racing with hoosier 28" slicks, traction bars and a new intercooler resivoir that hold 7 gallons of fluid to cool it down! before that last year gutted I went 12.28 on the 50 shot with a 2lb lower when the truck was gutted (no cover, box, seat, sway bar). at full weight she went 12.47 with the 50 shot.

as soon as I test her without the juice I'm going to run it next with a 50 shot on top of the above mods. I'll probably blow the motor, but oh well! then its time for a new short block and a KB blower, atleast I think I'll use that blower now. I'm still waiting to see what kind of power JL can get from his max. If he doesn't go much faster with it now (11.1), then I'm going to try and run a novi 2000, or Vortech YS -trim.
