I know you mentioned renting a lane at Firebird some night. Have you looked into cost etc? I know a few of us (probably 5) that woud be interested, and i'm sure plenty more.

 

Weedo the track is open this saturday night fo racing. just talked to don at firebird and he said we can reserve our own lane. no extra charge for doing it either. he just needs to know about how many vechiles. this saturday night may 25 is a run what u brung race. please let me know as soon as possible if we should reserve a lane for saturday may 25. hope to see a good turnout.

 

Hey guys,My boss is personal friends with "Charlie" {the owner}@ Firebird.I could ask him to give him a call.I've been privlidged enough to attend Private" test and tune "sessions with John Force,Tony Pedregon,and Tony Schumacher.Even got over "the Wall" while thay ran 4.70's @ 325 mph! I can tell you this:They prep the track WAY differently for those guys than they do for Fri or Sat nite Drags.
Soooo..If we do want to rent the track we would have a much better prepped track following a "bid event".Maybe some Mon. Nite after a big weekend??How expensive could it be ,if we can get 10-15 guys to share the expense??I'd be in for as much as $100!

Guys, ANY time except this Sat!!!!! As some of you know i've had an issue where my truck had been brought back to the level it was when it rolled off the showroom floor. I am expecting some "things" from JDM by mid/late week this week but my guess is that they make not make it by then. Even if they do, it will take some time to get it back the way it should be. I could always come out and click off some 13.8's all day long. NOT!

 

you can always pratice your reaction times weedo. ha ha. hope u get your parts in. by the way what happen to the truck. is there anybody else interested in this saturday night? otherwise the next saturday night is next month. if we reserve a lane they cater to us which equals more runs.

Three things happened:
1. Front end "clunk"
2. Truck quit running properly (evidently i blew a fuel line?.?)
3. The trans would sometimes not shift into 2nd (TSB on it so i finally got it fixed after taking it to THREE dealers)

Then we stripped the pulley when taking it off. I sent it back to JDM and it should be going out 2 day air today and hopefully will arrive on Thur/Fri at the latest. If this is the case, i may be able to make it Fri and/or Sat as long as i can get all the parts back on.
I'm up for reserving a lane any time we can. Hopefully from here on out i won't have to deal with taking all the crap off and putting it back on!!

So who all is going Sat? I know Badbolt2 is going Fri...

 

i guess no one wants to go to firebird saturday night. probably wont be busy either. well we will be there anyway
