blinkers at different speeds

i took the lightning on a camping trip this weekend. on the way there we were passing lots of cars and i used the blinkers a few times. on the way back i noticed something really strange. my right blinker blinks about 4 times faster than my left one which stayed at the same speed. it's annoying though and now i notice it everytime i get in and use it. has this happened to anyone. is it a fuse problem or should i just take it in to have it looked at.
thanks
hugo

uh.... I believe this means that one of the bulbs has burnt out.

Just nice to know you're spending quality time with the truck.
No better way to bond than on a camping trip.

Oh, yeah. You've got a burnt bulb...

with less resistance or load on the blinker modual it will blink faster....doesn't have to work as hard...

I can't believe I'm reading this!
You have been given free expert advice on this yet, you still question it?

(The nerve of some people!)

If all your bulbs still work and the only difference is that the Right blinker is faster than the Left blinker, the answer is your Lightning has the NASCAR option. When you pit (left), it is nice to signal your intention however, when you are coming out of pit row and merging back onto the track (right), it is imperative to get noticed.

The NASCAR option gets mistaken for burned bulb all the time. My truck didn't come with it from the factory but, someone secretly added it a couple of years later.

When was the last time you checked your blinker fluid? I'm willing to bet you are running low, if not out of fluid entirely!

You should check your fluid level immediately!

Question

Does he think we are talking about the dashboard light being burnt ? instead of one on a corner of the truck ?

My buddy has a 2k 4x4 and when his mirror bulb went out it caused that side to blink faster.... funny thing was it took us a while to figure out what the cause was because I wasn't used to looking for a mirror light and he didn't know it was even there! Yep we felt stupid, but fixed his problem.:o

Thumbs up DEFINATELY THE FLUID

When my side mirror signal light went out The only reason I knew is somebody told me no change in blinker speeds. Only when the bulb went out in front turn signal!

thanks for all the help and the funny comments. i did try the blinker fluid and it worked pretty good but since i put a little too much in there, the right side was a little faster, so i just poured some into the left side and it caught up and now they work perfect....new bulb works just fine.
thanks for all the help and ***** i had to take
