Stock radio removal?

I am looking to remove my stock radio, my question is where do I get those U shapped keys that go into the sides? I called Ford and they have no clue as to what I'm talking about.

I made a set out of a metal clothes hangar. You must use the thick metal hanger cuz the thin ones bend too easily. Bend each one in the shape of a U. It may take a little finageling but you'll get it. Even the correct tool is not real easy.

The Scosche removal tool is available at Wal-Mart for about $2.50.

When I changed my HU, I used a heavy hanger to remove it. Just cut it into two pieces about 5" long. Then bend each piece to fit in the two holes located on each side of the HU. Insert the hanger in about 1 1/4" in each hole. Push the hanger OUT (away from center of HU) slightly. This releases the latch on the sides of the HU. It does take a little wiggling and playing with to get it just right. It took me about 5 minutes of convincing it to come out.

I use four Allen wrenches.
They're a lot stiffer.

or you can pull out the dash piece that holds the HU then use your fingers to lift the clips that hold it in.
