Anybody actually use the L for *gasp* WORK?

I keep seeing pictures of the L's nice and clean but never seem to ever see any loaded down with anything (bricks, sod, cement, lumber, etc. etc.) except Bed-Rugs.

Here's a shot of mine with some real small wire: 1000MCM copper cable. This was a small bit of the scap that was left over from one of my projects. I changed out the main plant feed at one of our mills. My guess is about 900lbs of copper. We've already scrapped a little over 5000lbs. I didn't really wanna load up the L with that much weight.

Anyway, how about some REAL pictures... not a set of slicks in the back. LOL

Its my daily driven work truck. Of course all I normally carry it a load of boxes to Fedex, but it sure as heck is better at that job than my Cobra ever was... heh

I use mine every day, bids, check jobs, run material to my installers, pick up supplies, etc. Fastest delivery truck in San Marcos! Also, I pull a small trailer that I might have loaded with maybe 2000 lbs of material. It pulls the hell out of that trailer, hardly know it's back there! But I do keep it clean and no I never throw bricks, rocks or cow manure in on my bedrug.

I haul a set of slicks, tool box, floor jack, cooler, and a large bed
spread (?) in mine to the track every weekend.
Drove it to Mike T's (374 miles) in the rain Friday.
Other than that it only hauls, well, you already know.

Company Trucks!

A paving company was down here last year that had three
as work trucks. Looked like mostly towing.

I work for a landscaper, so occasionally i'll have 1 or 2 wheel barrles, and 1 or 2 edging shovels. I wonder how many yards of mulch will fit in th bed???

just bought a 21ft boat. Is that enough work? Just got a digital camera so I can post pics.

I used my truck for moving my belongings back and forth to college - probably about three different times. I had enough to put a definite sag in the back end.

I also used it to haul fire wood from my sisters house:

(any idea how to make the picture bigger??)

The wood was all the way to the top of the bed, and I also towed home my log splitter (test unit from work). Oh, and it was still able to spin the tires

I use my truck every day for work. I am a salesman, who gets to drive it all day, pretty much every day. It's so much fun, does this really count as work?
