Question Flowmaster Muffler

I want that classic mustang flowmaster sound.Which flowmaster model muffler will do it.How much to install and do they install same tailpipes that came with lighning after install. Not worried about performance you won't have a big differance with a muffler change anyway with these trucks. Jimmy

i have two flowmaster 40 series mufflers. i just had the mufflers welded in. They sound great. Deep rumble during idle, normal driving sounds good, and WOT is extremely loud a lot of people dont like flowmasters but i have no problem with them

Thats what i don't understand Flowmasters were always a great sounding muffler period always on fords anyway.I dont really care about spending money if it's worth it .Buying $$$$$$$ muflers systems is a waste of money for these trucks. They do not make a huge change in power at all.And people who say otherwise have a million mods done allready to they trucks,so they could'nt tell anyany. flow rates are important on a supercharged vehiecle just remember that.I put 2 complete exhaust's on my truck before finally settling with the magna flow,i believe i have the most expensive exhaust on this board!!!

I'm not proud of it; but, I think I may have you beaten.

Flowmaster dual 40 deltas with stock tips reused (Meineke):
$280.00
Borla catback:
$500.00+
JDM Silver Bullet:
$550.00

The Silver Bullet is exactly right for me. I wish it had been out before I went through the others. Installation for the two catbacks didn't cost me anything or it would have been even more expensive. :o

Cham-peeeeeeen!:o

To tell the truth, I wish you had me by $50.00. It would make me feel better to know someone else had spent more on the exhaust, and hadn't even bought headers and cats yet.
