FASTair

I was wanting to know who all has gotten the PSP FASTair upgrade system and how effective is it. Is there any noticeable improvement over just the filter set up?

I must refer you to Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford magazine, June 2002 issue, Lightning Blower Swap article. This article speaks of how efficient out intercoolers are. Ambient air is reduced by 200 degrees before it enters the combustion chamer.

Do yourself a favor and invest $4.99 (US) and read this article. It will answer several questions. Best article I've seen in a long time.

I have it, I like it, and I'm gonna keep it. Even the factory set-up pulls air from the wheel well. Must be somethin to it...The fastair system gives you cool air from three sources.

It is a good kit for sure. It is worth maybe a few HP I guess and maybe a .1 ET reduction. BUT.... It does bring cooler air into your motor and it is not a RAM AIR kit. The motor is not forced to use the air, it still has to suck it in....
