Those w/a 3/4 drop
Those w/a 3/4 drop
I have been driving with it for about 3 weeks now. I have changed the front shocks already, and it rides fine. I am about to put new Doetsch shocks on the rear. Should this help with the bottoming out in the rear? I kinda doubt it. Or is this just something I will have to learn to live with. I have several dips in the roads near my home so it can be annoying.
probably not, i put the nitto actives on when i did my install, and it bottomed out alot, i also noticed that the rear was lower than the front, even with the shackles in the second hole, so i put the stock shackles on with the hangers, and it is alot better, i like the ride and the stance..

Measure the required compressed length of your rear shocks. I may be wrong, but the stock ones may be acting as the bump stop.
I'll have to measure my stock shocks (I don't think I tossed them) and add it to my database for suspensions.

I did the same as L in Detroit (Jim) and mine almost never bottoms out. I like the raked look too. My Doestch Tech Nitro Active shocks are very compatible with the whole lowering process.
If I had anything bad to say about it, I definitely would.
Just put your stock shackles back on. In my opinion It looks better that way and handles great with a very rare bottom-out. Good luck.

I did the C_notch and quite glad I did. 50times easier than doing the Front hangers. Rides a lot better too. I can bounce the rear of the truck by bouncing up and down and never got it to make that terrible noise.
