Who ever said 2002 differences.....
I have a early 2002 Lightning ordered Dec picked it up Feb 4. The interior of my truck does not have the stuff you metioned. I have different lock, window switches and NO sunglass pouch, As someone else mentioned I have the headliner with temp and derection, sunglass holder and garage door opener. Does your 2002 have this as well as the other differences
I also noticed something else too off topic but I used cruise control for first time yesterday and a little green light goes on in the dash to let you know its on. I have never sceen this in a car before, stupid I know but its the little things in life ....lol

I don't have an 02, but a friend does!
He has only had it about 6 weeks!
His 02 has the map holder or sunglass holder (whichever)
His also has factory WHEEL LOCKS!
plus the other differences mentioned..squared grab handles, pic of lock on the switch..etc.

My 2002 Lightning
also has the Cruise light. It's an improvement over NO indication that your cruise is turned on, but Ford STILL got it wrong. I don't need a light to tell me my Cruise control is engaged (Let's see, foot off the gas pedal? Yup! Truck stays at speed I set? Check! Cruise must be on!" Here's your sign!), but what I want is a light that comes on when you hit the Cruise button on the steering wheel (that turns it on, but not engaged yet). Chrysler has had this for centuries; theirs also stay on even when you turn the vehicle off (don't have to turn it back on at every restart). Get a clue, FORD!

Mine does not have the dual sunvisors. It has the outside keypad, the letters "U" and "L" on the power locks, the newer shape grab handles and pillar, a dysfunctional boost gauge, the overhead console with compass/temp, and the hole on the dash that I think someone called a map or sunglasses holder. It also had the wheel locks, with an extra set in a bag inside the glove box. The light bulb for under the hood was in the center console all wrapped up in a bag. (I speculate that they probably took it out so they could leave the hood up on the showroom floor).
What a fun truck. Even with the little nuisance things like farting from 1st to 2nd at WOT, and the fact that the analog speedo reads several miles per hour different than the digital one, ... it's still the funnest thing I have ever owned. EVER. (yet)

Differences in Lightnings
I have a 02 True Blue Lightning, my truck has dual sunvisors and over head console with commmpass/temp, it has the keypad on the drivers door, the letters u and L on the power locks, the newer shape grab handle and piller, does not have the map or sunglasses holder in the dash, also have wheel locks in a bag in the glove box. it`s amazing that there are so many variations in the same year truck.
