Question Anti-seize or not

Was just thinking with allot of plugs loosening and launching do you guys use anti-seize on the plug threads? I do not use it and have not had one plug come loose. I have changed plugs 4 times in my L... I know usually it is a good idea to use anti-seize with dissimilar metals but with just a few threads holding these plugs in I don't use it. Just curious to what others are doing... Jeff

I used it when I changed my plugs. I don't think I'm gonna use it next time though. With the power these trucks make it's a good idea to change the plugs alot to keep them fresh, so they really won't have time to get stuck.

I've always used it on pretty much any metal to metal surface and I haven't had problem. I personally think its more a problem of people not torqueing there bolts properly.

The thing is that anti seize is so friggin' messy especially when you figure that your plugs are buried down in the engine...I avoid it if I can...

yeah, but you only use a little and I'm sure if any gets in the motor is wouldn't last to long and burn up? It just makes me feel all fuzzy and warm inside.

Hey jeff, are you still in creet? My girlfriend lives right in richton park so I'm kinda our your way all the time now.

I use it on my plugs(even though Sal says "No"). Be sure and keep it away from the electrodes. I also put it on my wheel studs.

I used it on mine and I haven't had any problems. I've always used it on aluminum head motors of mine.
