Exclamation New Electric Fan Kit Question / Problem??

I have just installed a JDM fan kit, waterpump and 170° t-stat on my '01 L, fired it up and noticed the fan was not running at all.

It does kick into high speed though when I flip the switch under hood or turn the A/C on.

Does it have to reach a certain temp before it comes on?? I dod take it out for a short drive (with eye on the temp gauge) and still nothing. Any ideas??

thanks

it only turns on when needed, thats why the e-fan is bought, if it was on all the time it wouldn't be good for anything.

remember it takes power to run it and the engine makes the power

Just checked out your page 'cause I wanted to see the wheels. They look nice. The silver ring really makes the difference. Also see you have Lightning puppies.(show pic)

if u installed a bronz thing with threads into your block or heads, and hook a wire to this then they will only come on when your collant temp hits 180 and back off at 170, or so, i was told the temps back awhile but now forget, but let it run for awhile to test sitting still mine comes on when i can barely see the needle get above the symbol on the temp guage..i also hooked a led light to the fans that comes on when they do so i know when they are on..
