No I don't start mine every day, Anywhere from a week to a month or so. Always drive it at least 10 miles once it's started. Of course if it's not inspected that's a lot of trips up and down the driveway
Raoul:LOL that's very funny

I let mine sit for weeks at a time garaged. When I start her up, it let it sit until the idle drops and I then take it easy for several miles and then gradually bring on the boost.

I start mine at least once every 2 weeks if I don't drive it on the weekends. The past couple weekends it has been pouring the rain so it's been in the garage for a while!!!

JC:

Please don't start it up and let it idle/sit for any length of time. You will be creating oil-related problems especially if you use 'dino' oil instead of a synthetic. You will 'wash' the cyl. walls too. Start it up --whenever you want to and then have time to drive it for at least 20 mins and 30 mins would be even better. You want to drive it long enough for everything to have time to warm up and dry up any moisture internally.

Thanks LightninRod..........what I have been doing is driving her Friday - Sunday, and I start her up once in between.....usually Tuesday..........start her up, let her idle for about 5 min. then go around the block a few times.......bout 10-15 min or so of driving and that's it. I guess that's more or less in line with most of your recommendations. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. I get kinda afraid of letting her sit 5,6 days without starting, so that's why I do the one day in between thing.

thx again,
JC
