Lowering and or suspension gurus

I have the belltech ¾ kit on my L, the full setup out back was to low, even with the shackles not all the way down, so I put the stock shackles back on with the hangers up front, I like this setup, I have had a 2 inch shackled L next to mine and mine looks lower, so I want to keep this setup. My question is, with the 6* shim what the belltech comes with in, is it a strain on the drive line, should I put a lower shim in or what, any input appreciated..

Tks
Jim

It is prob about right. I have 5deg in mine and was going to add another 1 or 2 deg. 6 would be about perfect!!

You won't know unless you measure it, or have it measured. Any good driveshaft shop that specializes in custom 4x4 setups can measure it.

I have the same setup and when I had my alignment done the tech told me that it was within specs and not to worry about it.

It's done fine ever since, even at the dragstrip without traction bars.

its not the full 3/4 drop though, like i said it has the stock shackles out back, the back was way to low and hit to much with the shackles on also..

it tows fine, but just for some insurance i have a set of air bags for the back comming..

ASHENOR: sure anytime, probally best bet is i can let ya know when and where i will be at the next michigan lightning owners meet, u can see mine and many more..
