Question Does anybody have Lunar Series guages yet?

Autometer's site says they are still not available, but I thought that somebody said they were able to get them.

I went to an open house for a distributer I buy from. I talked with some Autometer reps and they said the lunars were due out in less than a month. That was near the first of Feb. Now with my engine almost complete and ready to go, I'm wondering if these things are ever going to be ready. I ordered a couple of pyrometers, boost, fuel pressure, nitrous pressure, and one voltmeter. I can't find much good to say about those Autometer guys...

If you close your eyes, you would almost think JDM was manufacturing these.

Talking

I ordered mine from Martel Bros which has offices 7 miles from my house and I know all the guys down there and they will call me when they come in. Since they buy direct from Autometer, I should get mine as quick as anyone. I ordered Lunar volt, oil press, water temp, and boost and a steering wheel pod. I have a 3 guage pillar waiting. I'll post when they call me.

You didnt hear? JDM is engineering them!!! They said that mine were shipped out a week ago but something got spilled on the label and it got shipped back to them and they were damaged by the shipper and no they cant 2nd day air them because they need to be repaired at thier top secret manufacturing facility in the land of OZ and that could take a while because The Yellow Brick Road is under construction.

It's incredible. I've been following the Lunar gauge deal for years now. Sounds exactly like above. It's just a fricken gauge. Why would it take years to get a new faceplate into production? It's not like they are inventing electricity or something. They advertised that they were going to make them. Could they have missed the boat that bad? I would love to sit in on some Autometer production staff meeting sometime. All in all, I'll bet we'll see Lunar gages before we actually see a M166 in production. Ya right. Like we'll ever see either in production. I still can't believe JDM actually ships pulleys now. I know he sells them; it's the shipping and receiving them that I question.

Thumbs down

Still bashing the tuners? I guess everyone didn't get enough jabs in on Sal before the threads were closed, so now it's Jim's turn to be dragged through the mud again huh? I don't understand what is up with some of you guys with out any of the tuners all of us would be running in the slow a$$ 13's somewhere. I think we all need to lay off all the tuners, yes they are here to make money, so some of you may think that they are open targets but they do give us the things we want if we wait for them. Yeah, sometimes they are slow, and sometimes it seems like you have waited forever. But who really cares, it is just a truck. And when you do finally get what you ordered the quality of their parts are worth the wait. It's time to grow up and treat people in the same manner as you expect to be treated. If you don't care for a tuner or a couple of them then buy from someone else or just leave your truck stock. Give it a rest, I think that all the tuners have heard enough negitive feedback for a while, and so has the majority of the board.
The board has spoke.

Although it does seem that any other autometer product I have purchased in the last 25yrs has been deliverd promptly and I am sure they could easily explain any delays with ONE reasonable[believable] story.

I certainly dont mind the waitin part. Its the bull****ting part and operating on other peoples cash that annoys me,If you call that tuner bashing than I guess I am guilty. But let me ask you this,If you called a company that is selling custom made carpet for your home, and paid in cash[not easy monthlys on a credit card]and were givin obvious baloney story upon story as to why something that is supposed to be in stock has mysteriously vanished from the face of the earth and its all somebody elses fault would you still feel the same way?I find it Highly unlikely!!!
