Long Tube Dyno's, Before and After
Long Tube Dyno's, Before and After
I dynoed the truck in GA on Werx Mobile Dyno
I dynoed this weekend again on the same mobile Dyno.
I had Werx pull up the last dyno and overlay them.
For the record, my previous exhaust mods were only the magnaflow weld in mufflers, no shorties or anything else.
I added the Kooks LT's and Mid Pipes
These are the results.
I picked up about 6 hp and 7 ft/lbs. On one other pull, i made a tad bit less HP, but about 10 more ft/lbs. I used this one because it put me over the 400 mark.
My official pickup will be 4hp and 13 ft/lbs.
Both dyno's were made on slicks, and you can see, both pulls start almost identical.
Although the Peak power wasn't quite what I had hoped, the power is even throughout the entire band which I do like. So the truck is getting a little more all the way through.
The sound however is something to die for. When I hammer the pedal down, it's like the thunder of god, lol.
During my first burnout on Sat Qualifying, Doc Meyer the announcer for NMRA (knows me well), announcing good ole beef is back up. As soon as I started spinning the tires, Doc yells out "Uh Oh, Beefcake Got some new headers!
Power definately gets more expensive as you get up there, but I know I'm going to be happy! Especially every time I mat it!

no x pipe, I can't see a lil x pipe picking the truck up that much
once i get some better weather, i'll hit the track for full passes (not competition passes) and we'll see how she pulls out!
overall i'm happy
