Independent Rear Suspension
Why would you want an IRS on your truck?
If you have ever looked at the fromt of a veichel with IFS that is unusualy weighed down the wheel alignment is extremely out of wack. If you do any hauling(besides ***) with your truck and you have indipendant rear suspension you are doing a great deal of damage to your tires. Also if you look at the cobras they have an indipendant rear suspension and I have herd form many sources that an IRS cant handle very much power. Besides, why are there so many cobra guys swapping live axles into their cars to replace the IRS?

Some people like to do stuff other then the 1/4mi. Of course, we probably should have just bought a car...but then again, what fun would that be?
The only place I know that sells a IRS-kit for our truck:
Lightning Performance Products (NOT Lightning Force Performace.
$5k... Ruslow is trying one out right now...

Yep am with silver bolt on this one, i would love to have a IRS on my truck, this forum is probably 80 to 90% drag racers, so i can see why it would seem pointless. BUt for us the other 10 or 20% it would be worth it. Sometimes i think i should have gotten a car, but the truck gives me more of a challenge
