Cool Don's Bolt is back at the track

Well finally got to see what the truck will do with the new motor.

Here are the mods
Built motor
4# lower
Metco Upper
Long tubes
High flow cats
twin magnaflows
2500 torque converter

Mild breakin program on chip

Eagle F1's at 27psi

20 mph headwind

60' 1.775
1/8 7.758 @ 90.01
1/4 12.121 @ 112.39

I can tell this motor is going to fly once I get a real tune, and get the slicks put on.

Then when I get the new blower, Look out!!!!!!

I had a great time today, it was fun being back at the track.

awesome

I was gonna give you a ring to see what the verdict was......but now I can save some pennies. Glad to see those times going down.......what has Jim done to it since i last spoke with you?

You are driving a non nitrous 10 second truck........i'm telling ya.

Just noticed.....wow......those are some good 60 ft times.......no more spinning the tires down the track or something?

It is a JDM precision industry converter

I forgot to mention I made that run at full trim. I still had my passenger seat, jack, spare tire, trailer hitch, tailgate on and the front sway bar was still attached. If I had removed these thing I might have run a high 11, that would have been cool.
