JR,

We made it. I ran the same exact times as before. The temperature was the same as before also, plus we had a cross wind of about 25 mph which made it interesting on the 1/2 upshift, it was pushing the truck sideways and made it a little scary but we survived.

The best I can get out of my truck so far is 8.43 on street tires. That is going to change soon. I'm buying ICULOKIN's wheels and Slicks along with his traction bars ( Caltracs ), getting a 6 pound pulley and a custom reburn from Mike Troyer.

If my wife's pocketbook is deep enough, I'm getting a BaBolt throttle body, torque converter, and a Fast-Air system, electric fan and Cobra water pump.

By god, that better get me into the low 8's or high 7's!! If not, I'm selling this truck and taking up growing roses!!

Tim

JR,

I'm driving up to his house to pick them up, not a long drive, plus he's going to install the traction bars for me.

Walker had problems getting traction and was dissapointed. outnumbered's HD did pretty good for a heavy *** Harley Davidson. He has some traction issues also. He ran something like 9.2, pretty quick for that heavy truck.

Tim

You can say that again, a 2.02 was my best 60 , hell on the one run I was spinning at 3/4 track and sideways , that was after lifting 6 times. Either the truck is a beast or slow as hell , not sure I even want to find out now

I think "beast" would be the most appropriate word.

We had a good day JR, lots of sun and warm temperatures. The girls had a ball, slow but still had fun. My wifes top speed was a blistering 103!! LOL Tonya, ( the original Chikenears ) did a blistering 112!!

They loved every minute of it and they're still at the speedway in the motorhome drinking Corona's, celebrating. I had to come home to attend to our dogs.
