Took The Day Off-Hit The Road

It was such a beautiful spring day here, I left work before lunch, went home and got the L and hit the road. This time of year there is hardly any traffic at all on the highway. Makes for a great drive since there is hardly any cops around either Think I could of picked up a few tickets today otherwise. Sure love the way it handles and the supply of power available, lots of fun. Here's one of the pics I took.

Cherry waxed it last night, it was looking good and running better.

Look's nice. I bet the road from the top of the pass down to Valdez it fun. When we were ther, I think they were doing some type of road work near the top. I guess the Thompson pass road is about the only good one to cruise on, uh. And the flats before Valdez would be some good top speed zones, if it werent for the homes and such.

Actually the road all the way to Anchorage is a blast (330 miles). Plenty of straights and even more corners. And, of course, plenty of mountains.
