Talking Up In Smoke!!!!

Today I took my truck in to get the maf replaced and yes they replaced the 90mm maf on my 2000L under warranty. This was way to cool of them because they knew it wasn't oem. So anyway, I was still having problems w/ the ses light coming on and the computer saying that the truck was running lean. We decided the next thing to do was to go back to the 2 lb. pulley and JDM chip w/ my new program on it and see if it helped. Well, I got home and a freind helped me change it back quick and 2 more buddies stopped over. I got it all done and they all wanted to hear the new catback exhaust and I wanted to give this setup a try. I pulled on the road, stopped the truck, put it in drive, and let it have it. The result was a smoke show like no other. When I came back we measured the posi marks with a measuring wheel and they were 190 ft long. All we could say was holy chit!!!! It was done from a dead stop, no power braking or reverse holeshot. The setup seems to be working good as far as power. I will try to get a camera or scanner and post pics of the marks.

Sometimes you gotta cut it short before the neighbors get mad.

Nothing better than letting it rip once in awhile. Nice pics. Neal, looks like one heck of a burn out at the start of those marks. Any tires left after that smoke show? Daniel, I live in the country along a main road and the neighbors don't say a word. They actually get a kick out of watching me. As for the cops, most of them around here I grew up with. Actually, one of them watched me do this burnout. Keep the smoke rollin'!!!!!!!
