Exclamation Waaaaaay too close of a call just now!!

We had a BAD storm come up just a few minutes ago. I looked outside of my apartment window and saw my truck sitting right under a 60ft tree! The wind was howling, there was a frog drowing rain coming down mixed with small hail. I just knew I needed to get out there and move my truck. Grabbed my keys and start heading to the door. I open the door: WHAM!

Oh chit! I slowly looked over at the truck and there was a 8-10" limb laying on the pavement not three feet from the truck!

I run out and in 5 seconds, I'm soaking wet. I jump in the truck, slam it in reverse, whip it around the large pieces that broke off the limb that are laying all over the parking lot like I'm runnin' an autocross in reverse! Jump out the truck, and run my hands over the hood, fenders, roof since my glasses are useless in the rain. Somehow... the Lightning Gods spared me. Phew!

From kids throwing rocks and denting the tailgate and busting out the backglass, to kids throwing rocks while I'm riding down the road and busting the windshield, to golf-ball size hail hitting the truck (no damage luckily) to this... is someone trying to tell me something? I have mentioned I'm interested in the new '03 Cobra, maybe there are hinting to me. I dunno...

I need a beer.LOL

CC,

You need a few beers and a garage. Better luck to you in the future. At least it didn't get damaged.

Hey Corner. What is it with these bad storms we keep having. I was stuck driving on Flowing Wells road when it hit. You could not see a damn thing. All I heard was the hail and rain, limbs and trees falling. I know we need the rain really bad but I can live without any more hail dings. Luckily I have not had it fixed from the last time yet.
