I have the exact same mods as you on order, should be in next week? How much did it help your truck? Could you tell a noticeable difference? And do you know your before and after 1/4 mile times. Thanks!!

 

Not sure which beefcake you are refering to. There are more than one. I'm assuming you are talking to me since the other beefcake has some pretty major mods...

Anyhow, Haven't run at a track yet with the new mods, but here is what I know:


0-60 (gtech)

Stock: 5.86
Modded: 4.92 (that's almost a second better!)

1/4 (gtech)

Stock: 14.06 @ 103 (gtech's MPH is always off)
Modded: 13.52 @ 108 (again gtech mph is always high)

I ran each of these 4 times and these were the best number, but all were consistant... while the Gtechs numbers may be off, it IS consisant, so the improvement in times is accurate, but the times themselves may be off a bit here or there...

definate difference... the engine screams now... the extra RPM's you get help, plus the shift firming is excellent. Not whiplash like, but enough. Instead of loosing time during the shift, the truck now lurches forward on shifts for even more acceleration... I'm quite pleased...

Bang for the buck is excellent with what I have installed.

 

Yes, I was talking about you. I did not know that there were more than 1 Beefcake....Sorry!! Thanks for the info, the mods did seem to help you quite a bit. Although, I must say you are the 1st one that I have seen that ran 14.0 stock. Most are in the high 13's. Cant wait for my mods to come in. Once again...thanks for the info.
