Question New 03L color Yellow or Shadow Grey

In an earlier thread someone mentioned Yellow as being the new color for the 03L. Local SVT dealer in Canada indicated the new color will be dark shadow gray replacing blue. Anyone else hear differently?? Also these options per his e-mail:

........."I saw the 03L in Phoenix 2 weeks ago. The only changes are non-mechanical. The changes are no blue; (dk shadow grey); interior door handles are chromed/satin metal; new wheel style; power pedals and a likely but unofficial CD changer in-dash".

Frank

ps- what are power pedals??

power pedals are like in the taurus. the entire pedal assembly can be moved forward or back to adjust for the driver's legs.

I would love to see dark grey. I saw that color on a viper once and it was incredible. It looks almost black in dim light but glistens in the sun. And, it picks up the colors of things parked next to it giving almost a color-shifting look. Way cool

Power adjustable brake and accelerator pedals that move fore-aft, controlled by a dash-mounted rocker switch. Windstar's, Supercrews and I think Sables have had them a few years.

Fun part is holding the accelerator in a steady position and using the rocker switch to speed up/slow down.......or is that just me??

Cool not an L but at least you can see the color.

I know my trucks not an L but at least you can see what the color looks like on an F150.

I love the color, dark enough to look cool but not so dark that it has to be washed every 5 minutes.

Of course if I owned an L I probably would wash it every 5 minutes.

You can see more picture of the truck in my gallery.

Im pretty sure shadow grey is the new color they are using on the Harleys which i really like. Also if they are using it on the harleys makes more sense for them to use that color already since i dont think that yellow is in the plant that they build the F150s at. Heres a pic of the new harley with the color.

Hey Frank

Good to see someone else from Edmonton on the board.
Do you have a L or just looking to buy?

Loved the power pedals on the SuperCrew as I am 6'3" and my girlfriend at the time is 4'10" (ok, let's hear the "spinner" jokes!!!)

So sorry to hear that my blue will be a one year only color, NOT!

The Shadow Grey is not light.....it is Dark.....maybe it's just a bad picture. My 02 HD is a DARK Shadow Grey!! The Adjustable pedals have been available on the Expedition and Supercrew for a couple of years now.

Yellow is FUGLY.....at least in my opinion. Everyone I know that has/had a yellow vehicle gets TIRED of the Egg Yolk parked in their driveway after a year or two.

They guy that saw the Shawow Grey with Chrome inside accents, such as the door handles, ect, and saw different wheels......... Probably saw a 02 HARLEY Supercharged....and didn't know the difference.....LOL
