Clay bar?

Is the clay bar worth the money and time? And how many times can you use one clay bar?

Thanks.

Yes it's worth it. I got mine at NAPA and it works great. I can't tell you how many times it's good for because I haven't finished claybaring my truck yet. If it makes it through one use and you keep good wax or Zaino on it, you won't need to use it again for a long time.

The bar worked fine for me. The McGuires kit is a good one. The bar lasts a long time, too.

Clay bars work awesome! Wait till you use it and feel the side that you did vs. the side you didn't, night & day.

It'll last a long time, just don't drop it on the ground it picks up anything and you don't wanna be rubbing that all over your paint.

YES!!! The claybar is very much worth the time and $$. I usually get to clay the L 2 times or so on a bar. I have used the Meguires and the Mothers, both work the same. I prefer the Meguire's Quick Detailer spray in the kit though.

Same for me, I used MeGuires kit. It says that you should use only 3 times. Took about 2 1/2 to bar alone but well worth it. Took 6 hours to bar, polish and wax. Looked great. I need to get motivated again. Cost was very little for the kit. Don't remember exactly but think around $ 8.00 or so.

They say to use it no more than 3 separate times and to rotate it every now and then to evenly distribute the dirt throughout the bar. And watch how you open the package so as not to drop it. So if ya gots stubby fingers or freakin' huge biceps, take a couple long breaths to settle down proir to opening the package. If you drop it, it's pooched. Being that it's sticky and all. I'd say it's definitely worth it, if you end up with a lot of chit over your truck. Takes out tree sap, tar, etc. It gets rids of the dirt and other stuff left behind that washing doesn't get rid of. Wash your truck, dry it, and then go clay bar happy. It'll be smoother than a baby's **** after useage.
