How about a set of 305/45/17 Nitto Drag radials? See if you can put the truck in the 12s without any engine mods.

ATTENTION : I found Chikenears Eng. web page of high performance products. It seems he's been holding out on us with some of these excellent mods!

Hey Dave:

That is a great idea. I hadn't thought of that at all.

I wonder how much diversified wants for a set of Lightning wheels these days.

Agreed

You may want to put some miles on before mods, but I agree with lightning quick.....
1) Filter
2) Chip-go flip chip, street/strip
3) Boost bypass (i'd drather not leave electrical connection unplugged)
4) Factory Tech Valve body or tuner line mod (i prefer the v/b) and a larger pan
5) Then jump to a pulley......some say no more than 4lb......I say I'd play it safe with 2lb.

Filter, chip and bypass will run you short of $600. Spend the rest on race fuel-it's not cheap (from what I hear).

If you wanna go appearence.

1) Wet Okoles Seat covers (sickest covers out , but around $300)
2)Assuming you have a bed cover- get a bed rug. If not, get a cover.

Just a heads up....and this could be argued but since the search is working, you can find out for yourself. Use regular motor oil at least untill 8-10k miles, then switch to syth. Some people have had trouble changing prematurely, others haven't.
