Question breaking in 4.10 gears???

hey everyone i am having 4.10s installed in the truck in the morning and i was wondering if there is a break in period for these things. i have never had gears put in anything but a mustang and i didnt break them in and so far so good. i was planning on goin to the track this sat night to test. but i need to know if i need to go easy on them for a few miles first.\

thanks, Rusty

When I had my 410s put in my chebby,I was told to drive for 20 minutes then cool down,30 minutes, cool down, nice long drive and cool. Then you should be all set.I think the main thing is to bring temps up slowly and let cool

That's it! That's what you were doin' the last time we raced .--LOL

Rusty's going for "The Quickest 1/8th Mile L" in the South. He's smarter than I am--he wins money when he races .
