I have to say it looks pretty damn good but the only thing wrong now s that my Tonneau and hood are way flatter than the rest of my truck. I might have to color sand and rub the whole damn thing.

Hey i like your center caps, how much did it cost you?

 

Is that the Dixie Boy truck stop?

 

Did you order the pro-sport lid painted that way or did you have it painted elsewhere? The reason I ask is because i'm thinking of ordering one and was deciding whether to have it shipped pre-painted or have it painted at my local shop?

Anyone else with the lid or a snugtop have any comments about the qualitly of the companies paint.

Yes i made them and i didn't get much more traction my 60ft time was 2.034 and my Best et was 13.15@105 I NEED TRACTION!!!
All i want is my truck in the 12's. I won't give up till i get there. I might need to get some Street slicks or just put 50lb sand bags over each wheel.

LightninSVT-I would have it painted at a place near you. No car has the exact same color paint. So i would have a "GOOD" shop do it. They may want to Blend the paint into the quater pannels though. You can tell them you just want it to be pannel painted though. If you have anymore questions let me know.

Oh shoot i almost forgot. Some Girl last night at the track comes running up to me and almost creames her jeans and says OH MY GOD A LIGHTNING. Can i touch it????? (I was thinking No,but you can touch something else though) I said sure and smiled. No more than 10 sec. later he friend comes up and asked if she could ride in it while i make a pass. I said sure but she has to have a helmet. I thought that ended it for sure. As soon as i get half way up in line she come running out of no where with a helmet. She was moving around in my truck like she was on crack she couldn't sit still. Then she told me her and her boyfriend went to a dealership and were lookin at one that was a 2000 for 35K i looked at he and said hell don't buy that one i'll give you mine for 29K. Aren't i a nice Guy. LOL Wow how dumb people. Going to buy one for 35K
