I was under my 2000 L last Sunday (another intercooler leak, this will be my third intercooler, wonder if they really put in the upgraded 01 intercooler the last time, but that's another story) and I noticed a rubber splash guard that hangs down under the radiator to cover the heat transfer and some of the plumbing. This splash guard has plastic screws protruding that are attached to nothing. Are they supposed to be just hanging loose like that? Everybody else have this on their trucks? Thanks.
