anyway we always wind up racing someone while out..

well the other night i decided to bring the camera..

we came to a red light and a 01 black stang came fishtailing across the intersection and gunned down the road..
i thought it was a cobra or a saleen...

well we get to it and all it is, is a V6 stang with dual (huge @$$) pipes. a white pony painted on the side, and a tach on top of the dash and a S/C boost guage...

anyway, i look over and tell him we are going to race,, he said "main you got like 385 hp under da hood" well i kept talking and he agreed... light turned green and we were gone....

WOW killed a V6 stang... how many of you have done that...

now before some of you get mad, this was at 1 in the morning on a street that sees maybe 40 cars durning rush hour between 3-6 pm.... not a residential area either...........just a road that is not travled a lot..

I kill is a kill I guess. I embarassed a kid with his girl in the passenger seat yesterday. He was driving a bannana yellow lancer with a 4 ft high wing. I don't think my tach went over 3000 rpms though.....hehe.

I believe the new politically correct term for the v6 mustang is now the- disgustang. Don't sleep on these though. MM&FF has had some articles about these v6's. There are blower and turbo packages availible for them now.....putting out more hp than a lightly modified GT. That white horse decal is probably good for about 3 hp too!!!

 

I know Spiro is making one kick A$$ v6, it should run with a few people.

 

Heh... sounds fine to me. I will not let anyone or anything take me off of a light, period. Don't care if its a grandma in a Yugo or a guy on a new crotch rocket, its worth a try. So far today I have had both an older Fox-body Stang and a mid-90s turbo MR2 try to dispute this... walked em both with no sweat.

 

I beat one of those in my stock LSC back in college.

 

me and one of my friends sprayed on a v6 mustang with a z28. They said the wanted to race us so my friend was like "thats cool, but I do have nitrous and I am going to use" boy was that funny!! after that we got their numbers

 

I'm hoping there were girls drivin that other car when you got their numbers.

i also have a video of me racing a tahoe on 20's at the street races in memphis...
i think he thought he could be me... he was acting pretty bad..
