I don't know how you guys back east can get along without one. It's hard to work on a truck in the snow. I need a 3 car just to store my junk! LOL

J/K, I have a shop and my two project cars inside. We all park on the drive way.

It is great to have a garage. When my wife and I were designing our house I made sure the garage was big (oversized 3 car 28'X28'). My wife did not understand why it was so important to me until she started parking in it.

I rent the same mod from a little old lady down the road from me and I love having the ability to keep my L garaged, especially in the winter when its off the road. Good luck with your new pad!

It is a must with me to have a garage, when we were looking to buy a house that was part of the deal for me, the part for my wife was that we had to live in Scarborough. It worked out great for both of us.
The house came with a 25'x25' garage all insulated and heated, then I added a 13'x23' bay on the side of that. I should have just built a 36'x42' detached garage and forgot about adding to what I had. I ended up buying a 10'x20' portable garage for all of the lawn equipment and for all the stuff that I didn't want in the garage, I was going to put my MR2 in there in the begining but it is like an oven in there in the summer and cools at night. With the tempature swing in there durring the day I decided to put it in the main garage. My wife has to keep her minivan outside and my daily driver sits outside aswell, you never have enough garage space. I keep my show truck and my Harley in the 13'x23' bay and my MR2 and the Lightning stays in the 25'x25' bay. I keep the Tahoe in there now, but as soon as my Lightning comes back from Jersey the Tahoe is outside with the minivan.

A garage is a great thing to have, just be extra careful not to scrape the side on the way in

I can second that, about 11 years ago I had just bought a new car and I was living with some friends and the garage had a really small garage door and when I was backing out I caught one of the mirors, and it didn't come from the factory with the break away mirors that most come with now. I sure wish it had them though. lol

Unfortunately my bike and my car take up all my garage space..so the daily driver/winter beater (Lightning) have to sit outside.
