Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System??

Does anyone have the Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System. I found a good price on one online. I want to know about the sound. Does it have a good sound? Is it too loud?? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if it has changed over time, but two years ago, the Borla did nothing for the truck...sound wasn't much changed either.

I agree, the sound didnt change much over stock,if at all! for the money I say buy bassani, if you want nice sound! some guys here are running straight pipes w/ the cats,,sounds alil louder than stock, but not obnoxious! hope this helps, btw borla didnt fit my truck very well had to really struggle to get it on my pipes.

Where are you at in Louisiana?

I just put the Borla cat-back on a couple of weeks ago and would be glad to meet you somewhere to let you here it. Personally I love it. Not to loud but has a good grumble to it.

I live in Walker, which is just out of Baton Rouge, and work in Gonzalez.

I have it, it's between the bassani system and stock. When you get going, you know it's not stock

Borla Exhaust

Thanks guys for all your help, & any more replys would still be helpful. I am not wanting a loud system, I am just wanting a little rumble, something that sounds good when you get on it. Is this what the Borla is?

P.S. Im from North Louisiana, near Ruston. I am over 3 hrs from you. Thanks for the offer though. If you have a sound clip you can send through e-mail that would be great. But if not, its ok. Thanks for all ur help!

I have had a Borla cat-back on my Mustang for years. Borla is known for have a quiet exhaust at lower RPMs. But, they really screan at wide open throttle.

I have the Borla and IMO they are as you described, a little more of a rumble than stock but loud when you get on it. You can listen to it at the Borla website here http://www.borla.com/automotive/?car...366.51.195.211

Probably tame compared to the Bassani but enough for me.
