Question Question for Lowered L's

Ok,

I've got the 1" Eibach drop springs (more then 1") and the 2" Belltech shackles. The L now sits at 30" in the front and 31.75" in the rear. Soon to be hopefully changed to 30" and 31".

Question
Now when the truck shifts from 2-3 I get a good kick (? haven't really paid attention if it is the 2-3 or 3-4 shift) .

What is causing this? Any ideas? Is it because the pinion angle is off?

Thanks

It could be that, or if you have a 01/02 or a aluminum Driveshaft it may be hitting. Look for signs off black rubbing on the driveshaft..

With the bell tech 2"drop you will need a 3 degree pinion shim.good thing you used eiabch front springs...the bell tech springs sagged after 6 months, they gave me a rash of **** over returning them...you have to pay for a new set...they will check your old set...if theyre out of spec they will replace them.....mine were, but trying to get my $217.00 credit is a real pain.....still fighting to get it after 3 weeks,,,imagine if they didnt find my springs to be defective! I hate to do a job twice because of cheap quality..........

Eibach springs are causing the same problems, although they're immediate - not 6 months down the road. Do a search and/or check on recent posts.
