I just recently purchased a 2002 Silver Lightning. I am planning to add a chip, Cold Air Induction Kit, and a Bassani Exhaust System. What improvements should I expect in the 1/4 mile from these mods. Just curious?? Is there a really noticeable difference?? Thanks for any help you can give me.

 

for the 2002, the chip is the biggest bang, of the 3. the air kit and exhaust won't give you much (if any) the chip will give you a very noticeable difference

 

I haven't run a 1/4 yet since putting my chip in last night. But...... I own a Silver 2002, and I put in a chip and a cold air intake and my truck seems to scream now... I have a 4# pulley on the way, (back order)

anyhow, here are some numbers that I do have...

in WI, I ran a very consistant 5.8-5.9 stock on my Gtech.

Last night, after the chip was installed I ran 4.98-5.03

pretty signifigant increase in just the 60 times... so I imagine it's done wonders for the 1/4 mile...
