Question What is this?????????

HI!... I usually know my way around a engine compartment very well, but when I relocated my battery with a "NPP" battery relocation kit, I found this black ABS square box behind where the factory battery was. It has a vacuum line running to it. I'm thinking it's a modern version of a vacuum canister. Am I right? Does anyone know what this is. Here's a pic.

Neal -

How did the battery relocation go? Is Mike Troyer the person I need to talk to about the kit?

Don't know what the box is.

Thanks.

Cool

HI!... Well thanks guys but I figured out what it is. It's a vacuum canister for the A/C / heater controls. Since I don't have A/C on my truck anymore, I guess it's going BYE, BYE!lol!

NeedFourSpeed : I've had my "NPP" (NEWMAN PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS) battery relocation kit in my truck now for about 7 months. Everythings great and no problems at all. Here's a few pics.

Neal,
Please excuse the really dumb question, but is a remote on/off battery switch required for the track for batteries relocated to the bed of the truck?
Thanks

Cool

HI!... YES! Here is a pic of my battery relocation ON/OFF kill switch. It's in a sealed, waterproof case.
