I am having tv's put in the sun visor and the only choice of sound would be to somehow wire thorugh the stock head unit so I can hear it from the radio speakers. Does anyone know if this is possible without having ot buy a new head unit?

You would have to do some sort of setup with a RF modulator like they do with aftermarket cd changers on stock headunits. BTW if you can afford to put screens in your visors then why not a headunit in your dash?

 

My friend has 2 tvs in his 01 lightning and has the stock head unit. probably one of the most pointless things i have ever seen but hey its your truck and your money but to answer your question yes it can be done and i will find out all the fine details for you and e mail them to you if needed

And yes the tvs are in each visor.
