Lightninrod!!!
Lightninrod!!!
My uncle got me hooked on the Ashton VSG. Quite possibly the best cigar ever (except for REAL Cubans). You should try one sometime they are incredible. Oh yeah back to the L...I have a '01 that is stock except for the filter kit from PSP. The weather down here in Houston is horrible...approx. 95% humidity and real hot. Should I leave the leather tonneau cover on or should i take it off along with the tailgate? I have a 3/4 drop and 20's with Pirelli Scorpion 305/45's. I also have my F1's in the garage. What do you suggest? By the way thanks for the help and what is brake/torque?
CGar:
Yea, the Ashton VSG Sorcerer is my favorite, better even than the Opus X. For a great but not so expensive cigar, try the Flor de A. Allones from www.jrcigars.com.
Yes, leave the tonneau cover on but the tailgate off when drag racing.
Brake/torquing is what you do to leave the line when racing. 'Stage' your L then hold the brake pedal down firmly while pressing the throttle pedal and raise the rpms up to about 900-1,000 rpms and when you see the third amber light, come off the brake and roll onto the throttle as you feel the tires get traction--then go to WOT.
Good luck,
Dan
