They do seem a bit low, 330/340 hp are about average. 7500 miles, you would think it's broken-in by now.

It could just be the dyno your using. The one I go to has never dynoed a stock L over 310 hp. For the mods I have, I am dynoing lower than guys with less done to their trucks. I keep using the same guy so that I can tell if what I do to my vehicle is helping me or not.

Was it a DynoJet or Mustang Dyno, cuz if it was a Mustang Dyno
( I have my truck dynoed on a mustang dyno ) then the numbers are gonna be lower...I would say 15-25 HP lower...or maybe your truck sucks j/k
Take it to the track and let that be your dyno...stock 1/8th mi. MPH should be right at 80mph and less than 77MPH I would then say your truck is down on power!!!
Or if you have another dyno close to you give it a try!!!

On a Dynojet you should be pulling between 340 and 350 RWHP on a '01. Mine stock was at 346.8.

I've got a feww goodies now and just ran 391.4.

OK, so the image posting doesn't want to work for me. Check out the graphs at

My poor numbers were from a dynojet, also. This particular dyno consistently turns out lower than expected numbers. The manufacturer of the dyno isn't the only factor involved in number variances. Lack of regular maintenance and differences in calibration could explain the changes from one dyno to another, also. I'm sure there are other factors, that I'm not aware of, as well. Time slips are a better measure of your actual performance. If you ran a 13.9 @ 101 mph, that's close to what you should be running stock. I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy your truck.
