In addition to the 3M hand glaze (that is a good product) you might also try McGuires Mirror Glaze. It's killer for removing any swirl marks.

Best glaze on the market bar non imo is made by The Wax Shop and its called Super Glaze. Try it out, I think you'll likey! I took second place at the last car show here and everyone commented on how shiny the L was. No streaks neither!! Thats hard to accomplish on black!

Shank Dog is right. I tried some of that Wax Shop product he is
speaking of, and not only does it give a superior shine, it is
easy to use.
I was using the Mirror Glaze Chickenears mentioned, but I beleive
the wax Shop is much better, IMO

The Best Stuff ever is Car Brite Crystal Shine. It works the best out of any glaze i have ever used. the only downfall is that once you wash your car you'll have to use it again. Its pretty hard to find or at least it is where i am.

Jack- Try your local auto parts store. ABC Auto parts carries it around here. I think Ive also seen it at Pep Boys. Its kinda hard to find. Id also try auto paint supply shops in your area. This stuff is easy on/easy off and the shine and protection lasts!

Fritz -

A glaze is typically used after a fresh paint job in the body shop to bring out the shine after the compounding is done. A true glaze does not really offer any protection. Alot of people use a good carnuba wax over the glaze.

Waxes come in two forms basically; you got your carnubas and your polymers and they don't work to well together. For example you're wasting your time if you try to put a polymer sealant over the top of a carnuba or some petroleum-based product. You can however;. with some work get a carnuba layer over a polymer.

I'm not a professional detailer but I think there are some on here and I've liked what I've heard. I've done alot of research and alot of testing in search of paint nirvana.

Sometime soon I will roll out my thoughts on wax types vs. paint colors. As a tease I will give you two words Reflectance vs. Refractance.
