Truck ran real Bad yesterday.

Consistent 14.2 @ 95mph..
1/2 tank Sunocco 94..
Tires @ 32psi..

All the other stockers were in the 13.6 to 13.8 arena.

Traction was NOT an issue..
I let her cool for an 1.5 - no luck.. 14.2

This tells me it's running much slower than a few weeks ago.
13.9 @ 99mph a few weeks ago.


Justin(JDM) believes one of the spark plugs are shot.
I may have ruined a coil pack spraying the engine 3 times according to a thread a few weeks ago..

I need some sleep because I couldn't get any last night..

 

I ran slower too last weekend. My only consolation was that I had good R/Ts: 5.92. My 60' has stayed constant, and I had changed my rear psi to 22 - not much help there. gotta get slicks

 

May be worn plugs but I don't think it's a 'dead' plug or 'dead' coil-pack. Your L would be vibrating and shaking if you were only running on 7 cylinders.

How old is your fuel filter?

I have to agree with LIGHTNINROD, if you had a coil pack that wasn't working, you would know it, and I doubt that you would even be able to get a 14.2. I had one go out it mine and it ran like CRAP, especially at idle.
