Question Harley owner with a question ?

Do I need a chip first if I go with a 4 pound pulley ?

Also I assume you guys have boost gauges in the lightnings right ? The 2002 HD have no boost gauges.

Thanks for your help !

Nope you should be ok up to 6lbs of extra boost without a chip, or atleas the L's are that way.

No extra boost w/o a chip!!! Even a couple extra pounds can cause a problem if you get at a tank of bad fuel. Go with a 5 pound pulley and a conservative street chip for everyday driving.

Talking

da killa was kiddin. 2lbs is about the max w/o a chip on a Lightning. the Harley guys might be able to use a 4 and be ok. don't know what the stock program does for fuel delivery. the chip is cheap insurance

i'm not sure, but i believe the Harley F150 is made by ford.. (the same people who made the lightning you drive)

*whisper* and a insider leaked some news to me... they have *gasp* lightning engines in the 02's!

a paradox! it has a lightning engine, but has "Hardly-Runs Badges" this will take some time to figure out.. i'm gonna run some figures thru the official "MRBBQMAN field marshall computer".

He probably just wanted one less SC HD on the road that takes away from the exclusiveness of our engines....

By the way, nothing over 2# without a chip, at least thats the way it is with our program. New plugs might also be a good idea.

If that's what RT is thinking I'm with him all the way. It still pi$$es me off every time I hear about the new HD .

There aren't any kind of mods available for the Harley. You should just settle for LED washer nozzles and full Neon tubes for your underside.
